MISSION
TECDEN works collaboratively with networks, coalitions, institutions, the private sector, government, and development partners to influence policies, programs, and practices related to Early Childhood Development (ECD) through knowledge sharing, advocacy, and promotion of early investment for children aged 0–8 years in Tanzania.

OBJECTIVES
- Advocate for policies, laws, and regulatory frameworks that improve ECD service delivery.
- Mobilize TECDEN members and ECD stakeholders to promote early childhood development.
- Collect, generate, and disseminate ECD-related information, data, and evidence.
- Strengthen the capacity of member organizations and ECD stakeholders.
- Provide financial or sub-grant support where resources permit.
- Serve as a strategic link between ECD non-state actors and the Government.
