The meeting was attended by members, government leaders, and other stakeholders from NGOs, chaired by TECDEN Board Chairperson Ms. Elizabeth Maginga, who welcomed members from all 26 regions of mainland Tanzania. During the meeting, Executive Director Ms. Mwajuma Kibwana highlighted TECDENโs contributions, including:
Strengthening the network nationally, regionally, and internationally, serving as a hub for learning on coordination and advocacy.
Collaborating with the government in preparing, reviewing, and implementing ECCD-related policies, plans, guidelines, and strategies. This includes participation in drafting the National Vision 2050, preparing guidelines for Early Childhood Education, Daycare Centers, and supporting health and other sectors, as well as implementing the ECCD Joint Program.
Expanding membership nationwide and improving coordination among diverse ECCD stakeholders at national, regional, and local government levels
