Currently Tanzania is implementing the National Multi-Sectoral Early Childhood Development Programme (NM-ECDP) 2021/2022-2025/26. The Programme aim to accelerate early childhood development gains through multisectoral approach as reflected in the Nurturing Care Framework components: good health of a child and caregiver; Adequate nutrition from pregnancy; Responsive caregiving; Opportunities for early learning; and the Security and Safety of our children.

For effective implementation of the NM-ECD Program, research is key to inform appropriate intervention needed to attain the targeted objectives. Therefore, below are different research conducted to generate evidence to support the implementation of the programme.
